Myths in Google Adsense

Anyway, it is 100% true that you can make money with Google Adsense. If you learn your skills throughly and had build up your sites with tons of traffics, chances are you might even make BIG money with Adsense. However, before you get started, you probably will got lost in the myths of Google Adsense.

Often when people are looking for learning resources in Google Adsense, they got distracted and misleaded to false or useless information. Cant deny that there are LOTS of misleading information and myths spinning around the Adsenser community. Some of the populars are like…

1. Google Adsense can only bring pennies

That’s BULLSHIT!

And Markus Frind from Plenty of Fish…had just cash in a Google Adsense check with the value of CAD 901,733.84 not long ago. (view his blog post on this here.) So stop thinking that Google Adsense can only bring pennies, its more than you can ever imagine!

2. Scrapper sites or junk sites made the most in Adsense

This is simply rediculious, scrapper sites and junk sites only bring junk incomes (if there’s any). if you look at the big players, ALL of them came up with useful and creative contents that pull back return visitors/readers.

In the past, there are so-call experts that advise newbies to make dummy MFA site that serve nothing but Google Adsense. it gives no content at all and it only drags clicks… sounds like a good idea (since every click worth some money), wrong! by pushing every visitors to click on your ads, you are actually pushing Google advertisers to pay more money for junks traffics, which in long run, pushing the advertisers to lose money and ban your site from putting their ads. or even worse, they reported you to Adsense admin and ban your adsense account. at the end of the day, who lose? YOU.

 

3. Adsense money is for the tech savvy

At the very basics, you will need some knowledge in webpage building and web hosting, but it doesnt take a tech savvy level to earn money from adsense. all you need is an interest to write and drag enough attention from the web surfers to visit your site, you can start earning money from Adsense clicks. with the apperance of blogging software and platform, it takes just a few clicks to start posting your writtings online and best of all, blogging is TOTALLY FREE. you dont even need to pay for the domain name.

4. You should team up with your friends and click each other ads

This is the MOST STUPID business strategy i can ever hear but yet, there are lots of friends around me are talking bout the same thing. first, when you click each other ads for too often, it generates a click trend (with your ip address) and this alerts Google on the fraud click issues which most probably will lead to termination of you and your partners account. secondly, clicking each other ads is like selling and buying a product with the same person - you sell to your partner, and you buy it back from him or her, and the process go round-and-round…. would you ever make money? NO. neither for the advertisers, so if i’m the advertisers, i will run as fast and as far as i can to avoid you.

Fraud clicks just cannot bring you anywhere buddy.

    Bullshit, the math doesn’t hold up..

    For example, askthebuilder.com gets about 500k unique visits a month. Let’s say each user looks at 2 pages for a total of 1,000,000 page views a month. At a click through rate of 1%, which is high, that means you have only 10,000 click throughs a month or around 333 click throughs a day. To make $1400 a day, you need to make $4.20 a click and there is no way that is happening.

    There’s no way in hell he’s making that much money. And there is really no fucking way Marcus Frind is making the $6 million a year he claims to be making just from Google Ads.

    Show me the weblogs and the Google Adsense Report and I’ll believe it.
